Introduction

Effectively managing file access is crucial for maintaining the security and confidentiality of your organization's information. Sana Agents provides robust tools to help you control who can see and interact with your files, whether they are individual documents or part of larger folders.

Understanding File Access

Uploaded Files: When you upload files to Sana Agents, they are private by default. This means they are only accessible to you unless you decide to share them with others. This applies regardless of the role of the user.

Folders: You can create folders in two ways:

  • Private: Files in a private folder will only be accessible to you.

  • Shared: A shared folder will allow for all users within your workspace to access the files in the folder.

Shared Integrations: For integrations that involve shared resources (like documents from a shared cloud storage), you can specify which collections these integrations should be available to. This helps in ensuring that only authorized users can access certain data from these integrations.
