Understanding File Access

Uploaded Files: When you upload files to Sana AI, they are private by default. This means they are only accessible to you unless you decide to share them with others. This applies regardless of the role of the user.

โ€‹Collections: You can create collections in two ways:

  • Private: Files in a private collection will only be accessible to you.

  • Shared: A shared collection will allow for all users within your workspace to access the files in the collection.

Shared Integrations: For integrations that involve shared resources (like documents from a shared cloud storage), you can specify which collections these integrations should be available to. This helps in ensuring that only authorized users can access certain data from these integrations.
