Uploading Files Step-by-Step
Access the Upload Feature:
Open the Sana AI platform and navigate to the desired location where you want to upload the file. This could be a specific folder, collection, or a file storage area within Sana AI.
Different Ways to Upload Files:
Files uploaded to Sana AI are by default private, ensuring your data remains secure until you decide to share it. You can upload files using one of the following methods:
Drag-and-Drop: Simply drag files from your computer and drop them into the designated area in the Sana AI interface. This method is efficient for quickly moving multiple files.
Select and Upload: Click the "Upload" button, then use the file selection dialog box to choose one or more files from your computer. You can select multiple files at once by holding down the Ctrl (Windows) or Command (Mac) key while clicking on the files.
Upload Directly to Collections:
You can also upload files directly to specific collections within Sana AI. To do this, navigate to the collection where you want to upload files, and use either the drag-and-drop method or the select and upload method. You can receive either an Error or Warning when uploading a file, if that is the case, you can click on the message to get more informaiton.

I receive "Warning": This status indicates that some of the information in the file has not been fully indexed, which could happen if the file is too long, among other reasons. While this does not prevent the file from being used, it may affect how content is displayed or searched within Sana AI.
