Creating a custom assistant - Guide

Introduction

Within the Sana AI platform, you can create custom assistants with different “personalities” depending on your use cases. You can customize your assistant's personality, tone, creativity, permissions, and soon language model. You can set up multiple assistants for various roles, like legal, marketing, etc., and switch with ease between them. Use our toolkit to test scenarios and see how your prompts impact outcomes.

How to set up

On your homepage, head to the top bar and click on the arrow next to your current selected assistant, and click “Create new”:

Tailor your assistant by setting up a name, personality, how the assistant should respond, and creativity:

You can also turn on/off internet access for the assistant:

For Enterprise users with "Owner" permissions, you have the option to select between different language models.

After adjusting these fields, you can run test queries to see how the assistant responds and tailor it further:

Finally, you can decide whether you’d like to make the custom assistant available to everybody, or only for your yourself (depending on your access rights), and set the default assistant for the workspace:
