This has been a huge month for Sana. We announced new funding, and the product has seen major improvements.
These improvements have brought fundamental changes to the product, and to be mindful of our enterprise users, we're rolling out some changes gradually. For Free and Team tier users, you'll see the updates automatically.
Assistants for every team
Custom assistants enable you to tailor the experience for your teams or departments. Curate knowledge based on domains and add commonly used tasks to show your assistants' expertise. Browse ready-made assistants from the sidebar, or create your own and add your favorites to your start page.
A start page for you
We've listened to thousands of user's feedback and are rolling out a brand new start page. You now land on 'For you'—fully focused on your latest meetings and files combined with suggested questions and tasks. Next to 'For you' you'll find all your pinned assistants.
Serious work made simple with Sheets
We're excited to give you early access to a new way of solving problems in Sana. With Sheets, you can perform multi-step actions on multiple documents or meetings at the same time. You'll find the first version in the sidebar.
Smaller changes, updates, and bug fixes
Sana can now analyze your images - simply upload or paste an image into the chat to get started.
We've made it easier to add your files and documents to a chat with a new chat input.
The chat now has more accurate citations, and clearly separates sources used and related files in a right-hand sidebar.
The universal search is more capable than ever before, with improved ranking and result presentation.
We've cleaned up the sidebar with your meetings and files found under "Your content".
You can now access your chat history directly in the sidebar.
To navigate between assistants, you can now click in the top bar or swipe on the Start page.
Templates are now renamed to "Tasks", describing more accurately what they can do.
