Introduction

With the Sana Agents and Google Drive integration, users can seamlessly access and manage their Google Drive files directly within Sana Agents, enhancing their ability to retrieve and utilize organizational data efficiently.

Integration Capabilities

Beyond simply searching for information, the integration allows users to browse, select, and manage Google Drive files within Sana Agents. This includes selecting multiple files or folders for access and ensuring that these files are available for use within Sana Agents' interface. Users can perform these actions without leaving the Sana Agents environment, streamlining workflow and enhancing productivity.

Type of Integration

This integration is shared, allowing multiple users within an organization to access and utilize the files selected through the integration.

Availability

The integration is available in the Team and Enterprise tiers, ensuring flexibility and scalability for various organizational needs.

Scope and Permissions

The integration accesses files and folders within Google Drive that are explicitly selected by the user. It requests permissions to view and manage these files to ensure that users can only access data they are authorized to interact with, respecting the permissions set within Google Drive.

Exact Permissions Requested by Sana Agents:

Integration Setup

On Google Workspace:

  1. On the admin page, navigate to Security > Access and Data Control > API Controls > Manage Third-Party App Access.

  2. Click Configure new app.

  3. Click Search for app. Enter the app’s client ID: 647342669360-ke5g1b16fqgk58mu0rgpb6gupskem3rp.apps.googleusercontent.com and click Search.

  4. Select the Sana Agents app. Choose the scope and click Continue.

  5. On Access to Google Data, select Trusted and click Continue. Click Finish.

For Shared Google Drive integration:

  1. Navigate to Integrations > Shared, and click on Google Drive.

  2. Click Connect shared.

  3. You will be redirected to a Google Drive picker (authorization may be required). Select files or folders using the picker. Multiple selections can be made by clicking and dragging or using Ctrl + click (Windows) or Command + click (Mac).

  4. With selections made, click Select.

  5. The selected files and folders will be displayed within Sana Agents. Click Continue.

  6. Click Save to complete the setup.
