Introduction
With the Google Drive integration, users can seamlessly access and manage their Google Drive data directly through Sana Agents, enhancing productivity and ensuring accurate, context-specific responses.
Integration Capabilities
Beyond simply searching for information, the Google Drive integration allows users to perform actions such as retrieving documents, summarizing content, and providing insights based on stored data. This integration enhances the ability to interact with Google Drive content directly through Sana Agents, streamlining workflows and improving efficiency.
Type of Integration
Centralized: Set up centrally by a workspace Owner, respecting underlying access rights of each user.
Availability
The integration is available in the Team and Enterprise tiers, ensuring flexibility and scalability for various organizational needs.
Scope and Permissions
The integration requests access to view and manage files in Google Drive. These permissions are necessary to enable Sana Agents to retrieve, summarize, and provide insights based on the documents stored in the user's Google Drive while respecting existing file permissions. To reflect the same file/folder permissions of Google Drive within Sana Agents, the ability to read group memberships is also required (access can only be granted by an admin).
Exact Permissions Requested by Sana Agents:
https://www.googleapis.com/auth/admin.directory.group.readonly - View groups on your domain
https://www.googleapis.com/auth/drive.appfolder - See, create, and delete its own configuration data in your Google Drive
https://www.googleapis.com/auth/drive.file - See, edit, create, and delete only the specific Google Drive files you use with this app
https://www.googleapis.com/auth/drive.metadata.readonly - See information about your Google Drive files
