Introduction

With the Notion shared integration, Sana Agents allows users to seamlessly access and utilize Notion pages, enhancing its ability to provide accurate, context-specific responses.

View page

Allow Sana to view, download and index your Notion pages so that they are available inside of Sana Agents

Integration set-up

1. Find and click on “Notion” inside of the list of available integrations.

2. Click “Connect shared”

3. Sign in to your Notion account and accept required scopes

4. Select pages you want Sana Agents to get access to and click “Allow access”. Note that if you select a page that got sub-pages, all the sub-pages will also be included.

5. Decide who the integration should be shared with and give it an optional title and description if wanted and click “Save”.

6. Your integration will now sync in the background and it may take some time before all of your assets are synced. Check latest status on the integration status page.

7. After completing step 1-6, double-check that Sana Agents has been granted access to your pages inside of Notion by navigatign to Notion and click “Settings”.

9. Click the three dots icon near "can view content" and hovering over "Access selected pages"

Known limitations

  • Sana Agents does not support write operations (i.e., creating and updating pages)

  • Max 10 000 assets per shared integration for enterprise and team tier. Max 50 assets on free tier for private Notion integration.

  • Notion doesn’t use the concept of folders. Instead, it organizes content with teamspaces, pages, and sub-pages. Sana can index all of these. However, when setting up a Notion integration, you can only choose which teamspaces and top-level pages to include. If you select a top-level page, all its sub-pages are included automatically.

Q: How often are the pages synced?

A: This integration is an asset based integration which means that it ingest Notion pages This means that your data needs to be synced regularly, this process will run once a day updating pages and permissions.

Q: Can I create, update or delete pages in Notion through Sana?

A: No, this integration currently only supports read operations
