Box - Shared Integration Guide

Introduction

Sana Agents is an AI assistant that helps you retrieve information and manage knowledge across your organization. With the Box shared integration, Sana Agents can access the files your organization selects from Box, so it can provide you with accurate, context-specific responses right when you need them.

Integration capabilities

The Box integration enables Sana Agents to:

  • Access files selected by your organization from your Box account

  • Retrieve and reference Box content in responses

  • Sync your organization's chosen folders and files to power accurate, context-aware answers

  • Maintain a secure connection to your Box data

Type of integration

This is a shared integration, which means multiple users within your organization can access the files selected through the integration.

Availability

This integration is available for both the Teams and Enterprise tiers.

Scope and permissions

The integration connects to your Box account to sync content your organization selects so Sana Agents can provide context-specific responses.

Important: Access to synced content inside Sana is governed by your Sana workspace and the integration configuration. Box sharing and permission settings are not automatically reproduced in Sana. This means you'll manage access separately within Sana, independent of how files are shared in Box.

Integration setup

  1. In the left panel of Sana Agents, click Integrations, find Box in the list, and click on it.

  2. Click Connect shared.

  3. Login to Box and click Grant Access to Box.

  4. Click Browse Assets.

  5. Choose the folders and files that you would like to share access with Sana by ticking on the boxes, then click on the check button at the bottom.

  6. You've completed the set-up process, click X to close.

Known limitations

Teams tier: 50,000 files maximum

Enterprise tier: 10 million files maximum

Data Handling and Privacy

Sana Agents is fully committed to data security and privacy. All data accessed by Sana Agents is encrypted both in transit and at rest. Sana does not train any underlying language models on your data, ensuring the privacy of your information. Sana Agents is ISO 27001 certified, GDPR compliant, and adheres to the highest standards of data security.
