With the Asana private integration, Sana Agents connects directly to your Asana tasks, making it even easier to get accurate, context-aware answers and manage your work—all in one place.

Integration capabilities

With the Asana integration, Sana Agents can:

  • Retrieve and display your Asana tasks, projects, and workspaces.

  • Create and update tasks, projects, and comments for you.

  • Personalize responses using your Asana profile details.

  • Help you manage your workload by surfacing relevant tasks and project updates.

This integration empowers you to focus on what matters most, with Sana Agents handling the busywork behind the scenes.

Type of integration

This is a private integration, which means each user securely connects their own Asana account to Sana Agents. Your data remains yours, and only you can access your connected Asana information through Sana Agents.

Availability

  • Available for the Team tier.

  • Can be requested for the Enterprise tier.

Scope & permissions

To provide a seamless experience, the Asana integration requests the following permissions:

  • Access your name and email address: Personalizes your experience and ensures secure communication.

  • Access your tasks, projects, and workspaces: Lets Sana Agents retrieve and display relevant information.

  • Create and modify tasks, projects, and comments on your behalf: Enables Sana Agents to help you manage your work by creating and updating tasks and projects as needed.

Sana Agents only accesses the data necessary to deliver these capabilities, and your privacy is always a top priority.

Integration Setup

  1. In the left panel of Sana Agents, click Integrations, find Asana in the list, and click on it.

  2. Click Connect just for me.

  3. Click Allow.

  4. Click Sync all of my tasks.

  5. Click Close.

Known limitations

  • The integration is currently only available as a private connection; shared or centralized integrations are not supported.

  • Only individual Asana accounts can be connected at this time.

Q: Is my Asana data safe with Sana Agents?
