Introduction

The Sana AI integration with Linear enables users to streamline information retrieval and knowledge management by seamlessly accessing and utilizing data stored in Linear. This integration enhances Sana AI's ability to provide accurate, context-specific responses by leveraging the data within your Linear account.

Integration Capabilities

With the Linear shared integration, Sana AI goes beyond simple information retrieval. Users can search for and access issues directly within the Linear environment through Sana AI, allowing for efficient issue summarization and insight generation. This integration ensures that all interactions respect Linear's permissions, maintaining data security and privacy.

Type of Integration

Shared: Set up by an admin for a workspace or collection, access is managed in Sana

Availability

This integration is available for the Team tier.

Scope and permissions

To ensure optimal functionality, the integration requires the following permissions:

  • read: Read user’s name and email address and all issues that user has access to

Integration setup

  1. In the left panel of Sana AI, click Integrations, find Linear in the list, and click on it.

  2. Click Connect shared.

  3. Follow the login instructions.

  4. Select which teams you want to connect with Sana AI, and click Continue.

  5. Click Save to finalize the integration setup. The initial sync will be slow due to Linear's strict policies on exporting data.
