Introduction

Sana Agents offer a seamless integration with Slack, enabling users to summarize conversations, mentions, and threads by accessing data and knowledge directly from within the platform. This integration allows users to query information from public channels in Slack, utilizing Sana's advanced AI capabilities to search and retrieve relevant conversations. Additionally, users can interact with Sana within Slack by tagging the agent for responses or sending direct messages to the app. Furthermore, Slack Actions enable the sharing of AI-generated messages directly to Slack, enhancing communication and collaboration.

Known Limitations

  • Messages from apps and workflows are not indexed.

  • Threads that begin with an app or workflow message will not be indexed, which means that any human-written replies in those threads are also excluded.

  • File attachments are not synced.

  • Syncing may take some time, so not all channels will appear immediately when filtering or querying. Once the process is complete, all channels will be available.

  • Only messages from the past 12 months are synced.
