Introduction

Connect Pipedrive to Sana to manage your sales pipeline. Search and create deals, leads, contacts and notes, and keep your CRM up to date with context from your connected apps. In summary, the connector has the following key characteristics:

Scope and permissions

This connector uses OAuth. When you connect your account, you will need to sign into your account and grant the required permissions:

Scope

Purpose

Access to basic information

Read settings of the authorized user and currencies in an account. This is the default permission, always enabled for all apps.

Deals: Full access

Create, read, update and delete deals, their participants, followers, files, notes, and filters. Read access to deal fields, pipelines, stages, and statistics.

Mail: Full access

Read, update, and delete mail threads. Also grants read access to mail messages.

Activities: Full access

Create, read, update, and delete activities and all related files and filters. Includes read access to activity fields and types.

Contacts: Full access

Create, read, update, and delete persons and organizations and their followers, along with related notes, files, and filters.

Products: Full access

Create, read, update, and delete products and their fields; add products to deals.

Read users data

Read data about users (people with access to the Pipedrive account), their permissions, roles, and followers.

See recent account activity

Read all recent changes in the account, including activities, deals, files, notes, persons, organizations, pipelines, stages, products, and users.

Search for all data

Search across the account for deals, persons, organizations, files, and products.

Leads: Full access

Create, read, update, and delete leads and lead labels.

Webhooks: Full access

Create, read, and delete webhooks.

Set up instructions

Prerequisites:

  • Your Sana workspace admin has enabled this integration – if the workspace admin has disabled the integration it won't appear in the list of available integrations.

Step 1: Go to the integrations page in Sana

In Sana, click on ... More in the sidebar, then select Integrations

Step 2: Find Pipedrive in the list of available integrations

Scroll to the Available integrations section and locate Pipedrive.

Step 3: Connect the integration

Click the integration card and select "Connect just for me", this will open a pop-up powered by Pipedream. Follow the steps in the pop-up to complete the set-up.

Step 4: Sign in to Pipedrive and approve the requested scopes

You'll be redirected to Pipedrive to go through their OAuth flow. Sign in and approve the scopes Sana needs to operate the connector.

Step 5: Complete the set up

You've successfully connected your Pipedrive account. Click Continue to complete the setup and start using the connector.

Known limitations

  • Organizations: Searching, reading, and creating organizations are not supported.

  • Deletion: Deleting records is not supported.

  • Notes: Notes can be searched and created, but not updated or deleted.
